We annually host a Winter Recital & a Spring Recital.

IMPORTANT DATES
Winter Recital
Run Through - December 1st & 2nd
Dress Rehearsal- December 15th, 3-9pm
Recital - December 16th 12pm & 2pm
Spring Recital
Saturday June 22, 2024, 12p & 4p
Run Through - June 7th & 8th
Dress Rehearsal- Friday, June 21st, 1p-9p (We will assign specific time slots)

GENERAL INFO
Parents our spring recital is a beautiful summary of what students have learned throughout the season.
-Recital Fee is $25 - DUE APRIL 30
-Regular 1 hour classes present between 1-2 dances
-Combos present 2-3 dances
-If your student will NOT be participating, pls let us know in advance. Recital is recommended but not mandatory.
-Anyone who needs a seat will need a ticket. Click below to purchase tix.

All students are expected to come and take class pictures. Please bring your child dressed in their first class costume with tights and shoes. Bring ALL class costumes and accessories. Click on "Picture Day" for assigned times per class. Pls arrive 10 mins before your assigned time.
RECITAL CLASS ASSIGNMENTS
Parents please click below on "class assignments" to see which show(s) your student is in and help you to identify which showtime you need to purchase tickets for.
RECITAL RUN THROUGH
All students are expected to participate in Recital Run through.. No costumes are needed for run through, BUT students will need to be dressed in normal class wear and have all necessary shoes (ballet,jazz,tap,pointe etc). Recital Run through allows for additional practice time and feedback from the instructional staff to support the continued development of each student and class. It helps to further prepare them for recital. Run through is held at POS dance studio. Pls arrive 10 mins before your assigned time. Click below on "Run through Schedule".
DRESS REHERSAL
Parents Dress Rehearsal is MANDATORY for every student. This allows each student the opportunity to get comfortable with the stage, placements, and to run their song on stage. Please click "Dress Rehearsal Schedule" below for schedule per class.
Dress Rehearsal is at University City High School on Balson Avenue.

Parents our Winter Recital is a snapshot of your students progress. Encourage them and enjoy the journey from Winter recital to Spring Recital. It's AMAZING TO SEE.
-Recital Fee is $25
-All classes present 1 dance. For combos, instructor will decide what genre is presented
-Costume costs and requirements are minimal. At winter recital, teachers creatively use in class attire, at home items, or inexpensive items for costumes.

Costume Information
Costumes are handled quite differently for Winter Recital vs Spring Recital. Take a look below.

Winter Recital - There is little to no cost associated with costumes for this recital. Each class typically wears class attire, and/or pieces students already own, or are easy/cheap to access.
​
Spring Recital - All students must purchase the assigned costume for their class. Costumes, costs, and payment dates will be posted in studio and via email by the end of OCTOBER. All payments for costumes must be made by JAN 7TH to be placed on our first round costume order AND to avoid $10 late fee per costume.

SHOES & TIGHTS - A pair of tights will automatically be ordered for each student when the costume order is placed. We will additionally place a shoe order in Spring in the case of growth, worn shoes etc. PLS NOTE tights and shoe orders can be placed year round in studio.
